    Is it possible to drive with a domestic driver's license alone, without an IDP?

    As recognition standards vary by country, it is essential to confirm driving eligibility with the embassy or relevant government authorities of the destination country prior to travel. Furthermore, to avoid potential difficulties arising from the unfamiliarity of local officials in Europe, obtaining an IDP (International Driving Permit) is strongly recommended for a seamless journey.

    What additional documentation is required for individuals with special status?

    Documentation must verify the right to stay in the EU and be issued in English or the official language of a relevant EU member state. No specific format is required. Examples include:

    • Secondment Letter: Detailing the seconding/host organizations, assignment duration, scope of work, and a financial guarantee confirming all remuneration is from the home country.
    • Certificate of Enrollment: Stating the academic institution, enrollment period, and major/field of study.

    Is it possible to visit the office in Korea to view a vehicle and finalize a contract?

    Unfortunately, it is not possible. The office in Korea operates as a GSA (General Sales Agency) and does not maintain a showroom or have permanently stationed staff. We appreciate your understanding.

    Payments in EUR are also accepted via wire transfer to our European bank account. For further details, please inquire at the time of booking.

    How are the advance and balance calculated?

    While subject to variation based on the vehicle, rental period, and applicable policies, payment is generally divided into an initial advance (deposit) and the balance. Please note that if a reservation is made past the balance due date, the total amount will be charged in full immediately. Detailed amounts and procedures will be guided individually after online booking.

    What is the booking fee?

    It is the official service fee stipulated for each contract and is applied uniformly by GSAs worldwide and the French Head Office. The fee is pre-incorporated into all quotes, regardless of the quotation source. Therefore, neither price discrepancies between providers due to this fee nor additional charges beyond the total amount quoted will occur.

    Is it possible to obtain documentation for expenses, for instance, a receipt or an invoice?

    Yes. The booking voucher issued upon booking confirmation functions as an invoice, containing all pertinent details such as itemized charges and totals. Should your organization utilize a specific internal format, please notify us of the specifications, and every effort will be made to accommodate the request.

    Information on Contract Finalization

    A contract is finalized only upon securing a vehicle after the tax-free eligibility screening in France. Therefore, submission of an application does not guarantee contract completion. The following circumstances may arise during this process:

    • Inventory Fluctuation: An alternative vehicle may be suggested due to real-time stock changes during the screening.
    • Tax-Free Status: A finding of ineligibility for tax-free status.

    Should the contract be unable to proceed, either because the alternative vehicle is not accepted or due to ineligibility, it will be withdrawn and a full refund will be issued without penalty.

    French Customs does not disclose the reasons for determining ineligibility.
